Holding a bag of muffalettas

I got into work this morning and like always checked my email and then decided to cruise over and look back at some old pictures of me and Stu and I came accross this one. It just makes me smile remembering this day. We went out and shot pictures the entire day and on the way home we stopped and picked up some muffalettas. I just adore this picture and my handsome husband. I just love him to pieces!

Destin - Family Vacation

Our first family vacation was to Destin, FL. We had so much fun. We are very blessed to have such a good baby that actually makes vacationing with a 6 month old easy. He's not fussy. He hardly cries. He sleeps through the night. He sleeps in late. He is just a very laid back little man who is so funny.

We got up about 7AM on Wednesday morning. Got ready....got Cohen dressed and headed out for a 5 hour drive to Destin. We stopped at Shoney's and hit up the breaskfast buffet...boy was it good. So with full bellies and excitement we drove to Destin.

Our condo was great. Our view was great. The condo was huge. The pool was nice. The beach was beautiful!  It was awesome. We upacked the cooler and of course headed straight for the beach. To my surprise Cohen was scared of the waves. He clung to me hard every time the waves came in.

We were a little concerned about whether or not the oil spill had affected the area we were staying in, but it hadn't yet. The day we left the tar balls starting washing up on shore. So we planned or vacation right in time.

On day two of use being there we got up early and went to wal-mart to pick up some food and we happened to run across a very AWESOME walker....cohen just had to have. We hurried up...checked out....and drove home to put Cohen's new walker together.  We figured it might take him a little while to figure out how to operate it, but boy were we wrong. As soon as his little legs hit the ground he took off. Check out the video on flickr. He had us laughing so hard.

Memorial Day Weekend!

Nancy and Dave came in for a visit. It was nice to have family visit.

We ate some snowballs:

I got red teeth and lips.

We ate crawfish twice....Nancy and Dave love it as much as we do:

We took a few walks, which Cohen loved. Cohen got a little grumpy on one of the naps so Grandma carried him for awhile, but big boy wore grandma out. He's heavy....so daddy carried him the rest of the way.

We went to Audubon Park. Dave and Stu played washers while Grandma Nancy, Cohen and I played on the blanket.

Here are some more pictures form our weekend.

Meet Cohen-ita

I get a phone call from Stu...he picked up Cohen tonight after work. He said "wait until you see Cohen's outfit...it's pretty awesome". I just figured he had a massive poo poo and Marie (the babysitter) put him in his extra outfit. Well...I was partly right. Cohen did have a blowout...BUT...he had two massive poo poo's and the only outfit she had to put on him was this one:

It had ruffle sleeves too!  He doesn't make a bad looking little girl. Now I understand why sometimes people think he is a girl...he's pretty =)

Cohen at 4 Months

Oh Cohen…you are quite the talker. Mommy and Daddy have no idea what you are saying but you just talk and talk and talk and talk. I’ve been told by Gramps that your daddy talked just as much as you do. When we turn the music on in the car we think you try to sing along…we are not sure…maybe you are yelling at us to turn it off. When I picked you up from daycare you talk up a storm. I ask about your day and I’m pretty sure you are trying to tell me how it was.

Here are some fun things about you this month:

- You have discovered the dogs…and you LOVE them. They DO NOT love you…yet. When the little furry one (Pedro) gets close you reach out and grab his fur and hold on for dear life. If you are on the floor Pedro tries to avoid you.
- You love Bosco (Boston Terrier) too. When you see him you just starting laughing and kicking your feet. You laugh a big deep belly laugh. Bosco just looks confused.
- You roll over from your back to your belly, but not from your belly to your back.
- You started sleeping on your stomach and it scares me to death.
- You love when dad takes a cup and pours it on your belly in the tub.
- You love being naked…you stand all proud when your diaper is off.
- You love being outside and going on walks.
- When you are hungry you mean business.
- You can’t fall asleep without your nooney (pacifier)
- When I go to pick you up from Marie’s house (your babysitter) all the little kids run over and point to you. It is hilarious.
- You had your first ear infection
- You went to Indiana for Easter.

My Little Man....

I just love this guy so much...he is so sweet. Stu and I took some photos in our bedroom last night with Cohen and they turned out amazing.

This picture describes how I felt the entire day...so happy and so grateful for my family.

I love my boys!
