I hate pregnancy hair!

I hear all these stories about how luscious, thick and beautiful your locks are supposed to be while you're pregnant. This is not the case for me. I had silky straight beautiful shiny hair....and now I have fur. That is the best way I know how to describe it. It looks like it belongs on an animal not on a human. I'm sure you can tell by some of my pictures that I have no idea how to style all this fur. It looks like a mad scientist hair do. I will be glad when it returns to normal. Yucky pregnancy hair...BLAH!!

Puzzle Pieces are finished!

We are finished with the puzzle pieces. Well 99.9% finished...the piece with Horton on it is missing the baby's name, but we will add his name once he is born.

This coming weekend we are driving to Indiana for the baby shower and hauling back everything with us so hopefully we will be able to finish the entire nursery within a couple weeks when we get back. I'm so excited to get Baby Flannery's room together. I have 12 weeks left until I get to meet him and I can't wait. I will post 28 week belly pictures later tonight.

The Bestest Birthday!

Not to brag...but I'm sure my birthday was better than yours (that is to anyone reading this blog)!  My husband is the best and spolied me rotten this year. He went on gift overload and I enjoyed every second of it.

Apollo's Birthday Present

Stu and I found the coolest gift for Apollo (Nic and Jenny's son) for his birthday which he and his brother can play with. Nic sent a picture and I had to share with everyone. This is too cute!!

Nursery Art

We stuck to our plan of working hard on the rest of the puzzle pieces this past weekend. It was fun and a lot of work. We are getting closer to finishing. We want to be finished before we leave for Indiana for the baby shower so when we get home we can focus on assembling all the baby furniture. Here are some more Dr. Seuss puzzle pictures. They are SO cute!!

Aquarium

New Orleans Aquarium - Saturday Stu and I went to the Aquarium...we wanted to go to the zoo, but it was too hot for this pregnant momma!  I wouldn't have been very friendly out in the heat so we skipped the zoo and looked at fish. We took lots of pictures so Baby Flannery could see his first visit to the aquarium in mom's belly.  

Stu and I goofed around in the children's section for awhile. The kids were getting mad at us because we were hogging the toys...but we didn't care.

Nursery

Baby Flannery's Nursery - Wow this little guy's nursery has been a challenge. We have been busy cutting out 2.5'X4' puzzle pieces from wood...sanding...primer....painting...and detailing. So far we have only finished one puzzle piece. Here's a pic!  We swore to eachother we would work all weekend on the other four pieces. At this point I can help out for about an hour tops and then I need a nap...so Stu finishes up what I can't.
